The litigation, pending in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, centers on allegations of negligence regarding the security of personally identifiable information. While the company denies any wrongdoing, the proposed agreement provides cash payments and two years of credit monitoring to qualifying class members who submit valid claims. Eligible individuals may receive compensation for documented out-of-pocket losses up to $5,000 or an estimated $100 pro rata cash payment.
To participate, claimants must submit forms by December 21, 2026, either online at IRCSettlement.com or via mail. Those who choose to remain in the class but wish to object to the terms or opt out of the settlement entirely must do so by November 20, 2026. The court has scheduled a final approval hearing for February 1, 2027, to review the settlement terms and associated legal fees.
