The Princeton-based operator of regulated financial markets reported that its year-to-date market share climbed to 17.1%, up from 16.5% during the first eight months of 2025. This growth in options trading volume reflects broader industry trends, with the U.S. multi-list options industry seeing a 21.3% increase in total average daily volume for the same period.
While the options segment showed consistent gains, the performance across other asset classes was mixed. MIAX Pearl’s equities division saw its average daily volume reach 164 million shares year-to-date, a decline from the 184 million recorded in the prior-year period. Meanwhile, the MIAX Futures Exchange reported 12,203 contracts for its agricultural segment, alongside 4,979 contracts for its financial futures, a product line launched in May 2026.
