Happy Soul Stakes Claim at Miami Food & Beverage Show

Amid a crowded landscape of importers at the Americas Food & Beverage Show, Florida-based Happy Soul is betting on domestic control. From September 14 to 16, the brand will occupy Booth 773 at the Miami Beach Convention Center to showcase a functional gummy lineup manufactured entirely in-house.

The company, which launched in 2026, differentiates itself through vertical integration. While many competitors outsource production, Happy Soul operates a cGMP-compliant facility in Lexington, North Carolina. This site features a 300kg automated line capable of producing 2.5 million gummies per week. Founder Eli Elias argues this setup offers a critical advantage: direct control over formulation, production schedules, and quality assurance, bypassing the unpredictable lead times that often plague third-party manufacturing.

Happy Soul’s product range—including nootropic mushroom, protein, and shilajit variants—is formulated with a base of 83 fruits and vegetables. By relying on plant material for color rather than artificial dyes, the gummies maintain an opaque appearance. Beyond its proprietary brand, the company is leveraging the Miami event to court private label and contract manufacturing partners. By offering hundreds of existing formulations, they aim to attract brands looking to localize supply chains or navigate US regulatory requirements under 21 CFR Part 111.
