The 12-story oceanfront property, constructed in 2021, occupies a strategic 0.8-acre site at 525 South Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard. With 141 guestrooms offering direct views of the Atlantic or the intracoastal waterway, the hotel sits in a high-demand submarket just south of Las Olas Boulevard. While financial terms of the transaction remain private, the buyers have signaled plans for targeted upgrades to the property’s public spaces and dining concepts.
Patrick Ryan, a Managing Director at Rockpoint, cited the site's long-term fundamentals as a primary driver for the investment. Neil Luthra, Founding Partner of Newbond, emphasized that the firm intends to capitalize on the ongoing evolution of the Fort Lauderdale Beach corridor. The boutique hotel currently features a fitness studio, an oceanfront pool deck, and various event spaces, all of which the new ownership group aims to refine to strengthen the asset's competitive positioning.
