Pomerantz LLP Launches Investigation Into JinkoSolar Securities Practices

A sharp drop in share prices following a series of disappointing financial disclosures has triggered a formal investigation by Pomerantz LLP into JinkoSolar Holding Co. The firm is examining whether the solar manufacturer and its leadership misled investors regarding the company’s financial health and operational stability throughout 2025 and 2026.

Pomerantz LLP Launches Investigation Into JinkoSolar Securities Practices

The inquiry centers on a pattern of earnings reports that diverged significantly from previous management guidance. On April 16, 2026, JinkoSolar disclosed a non-cash impairment charge exceeding $200 million, resulting in a $214.5 million GAAP loss for the fourth quarter of 2025. This revelation contradicted earlier optimistic projections shared by officers during the November 2025 earnings call, causing the company's American Depositary Receipt price to tumble 11.89% to $21.34.

Financial instability persisted through the second quarter of 2026. When the company reported its latest results on August 26, both revenue and earnings per share missed analyst consensus estimates. Most notably, the gross margin plummeted to 4.2% from 8.3% in the prior quarter. Management cited a combination of declining global solar prices, weakening demand for utility-scale projects in China, and high costs linked to the production of newer premium models. Investors responded to the report by driving the ADR price down another 11.87% to close at $13.66. Pomerantz LLP is now calling for affected shareholders to come forward as they evaluate potential claims of securities fraud and breaches of fiduciary duty.
