AIxMed CEO Samuel Chen highlighted that the current evaluation phase involves characterizing performance across specific slide types and scanner configurations. While the software is currently available for select NanoZoomer models, the companies emphasize that availability remains subject to jurisdictional regulations and specific hardware compatibility. This development marks a shift toward leveraging AI to handle the technical, repetitive aspects of digital pathology, allowing laboratories to streamline imaging processes.
