The KAIROS IT/IP live production platform gains two new control panels, the AT-KP340 and AT-KP330, featuring 40 and 30 crosspoint buttons respectively. By integrating large touch panels on each bus row, the hardware provides direct access to macros and snapshots to minimize operator fatigue. These units are slated for release in the second and third quarters of 2027.
Simultaneously, the Image Adjust Pro software suite is receiving an automated color-matching function. This update allows production teams to synchronize color outputs across multiple cameras against a single reference unit, eliminating the need for manual gamma or matrix adjustments. Expected in Q4 2026, the software will eventually support the upcoming AW-UE200 and AW-UER200 PTZ cameras.
Panasonic is also enhancing its AK-UCX100 and AK-UBX100 cameras with firmware updates due in late 2026. These include a Color Temp. Blend function to harmonize LED wall lighting with studio environments, and Target Color Correction for precise adjustments to specific hues, such as corporate brand colors. A new Chroma Suppression feature further assists in managing highly saturated visuals often found in concert production and virtual sets.
