The collection draws heavily from the Southern California skate scene, offering a mix of reimagined tracksuits, distressed denim, and outerwear. By securing the brand, Pacsun aims to bridge the gap between high-fashion streetwear and its core youth-focused demographic. Joey Gabbay, CEO of Bluestar Alliance, noted that the collaboration provides a platform for authentic self-expression, while Pacsun Chief Merchandising Officer Richard Cox emphasized that the label’s design ethos aligns with the retailer’s existing community.
Following its summer launch, the PLAY Palm Angels range is now available at select Pacsun locations and via the retailer's digital storefront. This expansion marks a significant step for the brand, which operates under the Bluestar Alliance portfolio, to solidify its presence in the U.S. market alongside its existing distribution through partners like Nordstrom and Hibbett.
