NWPX Infrastructure Acquires Serpentix Conveyor to Expand Wastewater Reach

Serpentix, established in 1969, brings over five decades of engineering experience to the table, specifically in moving abrasive, high-moisture materials like sludge and grit. Their signature continuous path technology enables conveyor systems to navigate complex three-dimensional layouts, including vertical inclines and horizontal turns. This capability allows municipal plants to bypass the need for multiple transfer points, simplifying operations in confined retrofit environments.

Beyond conveyor systems, the acquisition adds industrial automation and precision metal-fabrication capabilities to NWPX’s manufacturing footprint. Serpentix reported annual net sales of approximately $15.6 million for the twelve months ending June 30, 2026. Scott Montross, President and CEO of NWPX, noted that the assets align with the company’s existing dewatering and separation offerings. This move follows the February 2026 purchase of Boughton's Precast, marking the second such expansion for the company this year.
