Leigh Hollis Named Chief People Officer at Halff

Hollis joined the firm in 2005 at the Fort Worth office after graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in civil engineering. During her tenure, she provided operational oversight for offices in Dallas, Frisco, and Richardson. President and CEO Jessica Baker Daily highlighted the new officer’s blend of vision and personnel management as the primary driver for her promotion. Beyond her technical and operational background, Hollis maintains active memberships with the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the American Public Works Association.

The appointment coincides with a strategic realignment of the firm's leadership team. Ben Pylant, who previously held a dual role as both chief people officer and chief growth officer, will now focus exclusively on the latter. This move allows Pylant to dedicate his efforts to the firm’s long-term growth initiatives while maintaining his client service commitments. Halff, an employee-owned firm founded in 1950, currently manages operations across seven states with a workforce exceeding 1,300 professionals.
