The company’s shift in performance reflects a broader strategic pivot initiated in April 2025, when the board approved the termination of several non-core business activities. This consolidation resulted in a sharp drop across multiple segments: recommendation services fell 44.7%, while digital intelligence and marketing services saw declines of 70.2% and 67.5%, respectively. Net income for the period dropped to RMB 2.4 million, a steep decline from the RMB 19.1 million reported in the first half of 2025.
Despite the revenue headwinds, the company managed to reduce operating costs significantly. Promotion and acquisition expenses dropped by more than half, and general administrative outlays fell 40.3% as the firm trimmed payroll and professional fees. Following the release of these results, the board declared a special cash dividend of US$0.499 per American depositary share, totaling up to US$10 million, with a payment date scheduled for October 2026.
