Laser Research Optics Expands CO2 Beam Delivery Line

Engineers working with 10.6 µm CO2 lasers now have access to a broader range of beam delivery components, as Providence-based Laser Research Optics rolls out a new series of specialized reflectors and couplers designed for power outputs between 25 and 200 watts.

Laser Research Optics Expands CO2 Beam Delivery Line

The expanded product line encompasses a diverse array of optical elements, including beam combiners, splitters, and a variety of mirrors crafted from silicon, molybdenum, and copper. These components are engineered for precision in industrial applications such as metal cutting, welding, engraving, and medical laser systems. Available in diameters ranging from 0.6 to 3 inches, the optics offer reflectivities reaching 99 percent.

Technical specifications for the release include output couplers with reflectivity tolerances held to ±1 percent, alongside phase retarders available in multiple thicknesses to suit specific shift requirements. Laser Research Optics, a division of Meller Optics, maintains these components in stock for immediate distribution to both original equipment manufacturers and individual end-users.
