ECARX Integrates Tencent WorkBuddy AI into Flyme Ecosystem

The integration leverages WorkBuddy’s agentic capabilities, which go beyond standard chatbot functions to orchestrate multi-step tasks. Users can request complex deliverables—including reports, code, and presentations—which the system processes via a cloud-based sandbox while maintaining synchronization across devices. By embedding these tools into Flyme Auto, ECARX intends to bring advanced office-like productivity directly into the vehicle cabin.

This deployment follows ECARX’s definitive agreement to acquire Flyme AIOS, positioning the operating system as a cornerstone of the company’s full-stack software portfolio. Currently serving 12 industries with over 140 AI advisors and 22,000 plugins, WorkBuddy will augment the existing Super Aicy assistant to create a seamless interface for connected hardware. ECARX, which already powers technology in approximately 12 million vehicles globally, views this move as a critical step in streamlining integration for automakers transitioning to AI-first architectures.
