Acer Expands Mobile Ecosystem With ePaper Displays and 5G Hardware

At the next@acer global press conference in Berlin, the company unveiled a diverse hardware suite designed for mobile professionals and hybrid workflows. The lineup centers on the EP130K ePaper monitor and the PD163Q P3 triple-screen extender, alongside new Android tablets, portable projectors, and high-speed 5G connectivity solutions.

The Acer EP130K targets deep-work environments, utilizing a 13.3-inch ePaper panel that supports touch input and stylus use. With a 3200 x 2400 resolution and bi-stability functionality, the display retains images without constant power, bridging the gap between digital utility and the visual comfort of traditional paper. For those requiring expanded workspace, the PD163Q P3 triple-screen extender provides three 15.6-inch FHD IPS panels that connect via a single USB-C cable, allowing users to scale their mobile setup into a multi-monitor configuration.

Beyond displays, Acer is updating its portable portfolio with the C350e projector and a refreshed Iconia tablet series. The C350e integrates AI-driven features, including a detachable remote that doubles as an information badge. The new Iconia X16, X14, A16, and A14 tablets all run on Android 16 and MediaTek Helio G80 processors, featuring a unified tripod kickstand design. Connectivity remains a priority for the brand, evidenced by the Connect X6ES 5G router and the Connect D5P dongle, the latter offering tri-SIM flexibility and speeds reaching 3.27 Gbps in standalone mode. These devices are scheduled for staggered releases across North America and EMEA beginning in late 2026.
