The lawsuit, filed in the District of Colorado as Ianelli v. York Space Systems Inc., targets the firm alongside its executives and IPO underwriters. Plaintiffs contend that the company’s offering documents omitted critical failures in onboard mission and payload software, which reportedly compromised contracts with the Pentagon’s Space Development Agency. For fiscal 2025, those government-backed projects accounted for 96% of the company’s total revenue.
Legal scrutiny intensified after a May 11 report from Wolfpack Research alleged that York Space deployed satellites despite internal doubts about whether the software could perform its core functions. The report suggested that the Pentagon’s subsequent move to cut Tranche 3 funding stemmed from dissatisfaction with the company’s performance. Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP is spearheading the litigation, inviting investors who suffered significant losses to participate in the recovery process.
