REMAX Appoints Industry Veteran Alex Vidal as President

Vidal joins the organization after serving as President of ERA Real Estate, where he made history as the first Hispanic leader of a major national real estate brand. His career path reflects a deep immersion in the industry, beginning at age 19 as a secretary at Keyes Real Estate before moving into roles as a recruiter, sales manager, and coach. In 2004, he founded TheCloserClub, a platform that has provided professional development to more than 30,000 agents.

At REMAX, Vidal will report to Chairman and CEO Tamir Poleg, focusing on growth initiatives and service development for broker-owners and agents. This role places him alongside recently appointed executives Jenna Rozenblat and Amy Somerville. Poleg emphasized that Vidal’s track record in sales and his competitive mindset are precisely what the firm requires to translate its global reach into increased productivity. Vidal intends to leverage the network’s scale alongside new technology initiatives to streamline operations for affiliates across 120 countries.
