PTX Metals Spins Off Uranium Assets to Launch Green Canada Uranium

A strategic corporate restructuring in Toronto has finalized, as PTX Metals offloads its uranium interests to the newly formed Green Canada Uranium Corp. The entity, created alongside MAACKK Capital, is slated to begin trading on the TSX Venture Exchange around September 9, 2026, under the ticker GCUC.

The transaction grants the new company full ownership of the Marshall uranium project located in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin, with initial drilling operations scheduled to begin this month. For PTX Metals, the move serves to streamline its balance sheet and lower overhead costs. By shedding non-core assets, the company aims to concentrate its technical and financial resources on its primary gold and critical mineral portfolio in Ontario, specifically the W2 Copper-Nickel-PGE project and its South Timmins gold properties.

Greg Ferron, President and CEO of PTX Metals, noted that the company retains a significant shareholding in the new venture, allowing shareholders to maintain exposure to the Marshall project's exploration potential. PTX management is now evaluating tax-efficient strategies to manage this remaining interest as they shift their operational focus toward their flagship Ontario assets.
