Radiation Oncologist Shravan R. Kambam Joins FCS Brooksville

Dr. Kambam brings a background rooted in specialized clinical training, having earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee and completed his residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. His role focuses on utilizing advanced radiation therapy techniques designed to target malignancy while sparing surrounding healthy tissue.

David Wenk, FCS assistant managing physician, highlighted the new addition’s focus on patient-centered care, noting that his expertise will be a significant asset to the regional team. Sachin Kamath, medical director of radiation oncology and radiology, added that the appointment is part of an ongoing effort to ensure patients receive high-quality, comprehensive treatment close to their homes in Florida. The practice continues to emphasize its broader mission of integrating clinical research and personalized treatment plans for oncology patients across the state.
