Ecopetrol Reshuffles Senior Leadership in Innovation and Energy Divisions

Sergio Andrés Moreno Acevedo steps down as Corporate Vice President of Science, Technology and Innovation effective August 31. His successor, Diana Marcela Acero Rojas, moves up from her current role as Innovation and CT+i Portfolio Manager to serve as Acting Corporate Vice President starting September 1.

Simultaneously, the company formalized the appointment of Henryk Manuel Porras Villamil as the Acting Executive Vice President of Energy Transition. Porras Villamil, formerly a project leader in the energy transition department, replaces Ernesto Alfonso Gómez Cabarcas. Following his departure, Gómez Cabarcas plans to take a period of statutory leave before pursuing new professional opportunities outside the organization. Ecopetrol noted that further disclosures regarding permanent appointments for these roles will follow in accordance with market regulations.
