The expanded event reflects a strategic shift in the current automotive landscape, moving away from an exclusively battery-electric focus to provide a comprehensive comparison of all powertrain options. CATA President Jennifer Morand noted that the updated format is designed to help shoppers navigate complex buying decisions by offering direct, side-by-side access to various vehicle technologies. Attendees can expect a diverse fleet of cars, trucks, and SUVs from manufacturers including BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Tesla, Toyota, and VinFast.
Product specialists will be stationed throughout the venue to explain new vehicle features and assist attendees in identifying models that suit their specific driving requirements. Registration is currently open at the event’s official website, with a $10 fee for those planning to drive. Non-driving guests may enter at no cost. Following this autumn showcase, the organization will shift its focus to the annual Chicago Auto Show, scheduled for February 13-21, 2027, at McCormick Place.
