Little Rock to Host 51st Annual National Kidney Patient Meeting

Running from September 10 through 13, 2026, the event offers free access to patients, families, and living organ donors both in person and online. The program centers on the so-called Decade of the Kidney, focusing on the latest breakthroughs in research, federal policy, and diagnostic technology. The proceedings open at the Clinton Presidential Center with a Public Policy Forum, before shifting to the Little Rock Marriott for the remainder of the sessions.

The roster includes prominent specialists from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, such as Dr. John M. Arthur, Dr. Brandi P. Wright, Dr. Manisha Singh, and transplant administrator Joy Cope. Their presentations cover topics ranging from Cardio Kidney Metabolic syndrome to maintaining transplant eligibility. They will be joined by international authorities, including Dr. Dominic Raj of George Washington University and Dr. Prabir Roy-Chaudhury of the University of North Carolina, who will examine the rapidly shifting landscape of renal science.
