Hero Esports to Host Middle East’s First Humanoid Robot Fight in Riyadh

The upcoming event, titled CyberHero x Riyadh, features robots standing 1.73 meters tall and weighing up to 85 kilograms. These machines, equipped with 29 articulated joints, are engineered to replicate complex human movements—including punching, kicking, and rapid recovery after falls. This performance builds on a July 2026 debut in Shenzhen, with the Riyadh iteration promising an upgraded combat package and a two-hour production featuring live music and immersive lighting.

Beyond the arena, Hero Esports is launching the CyberHero Saudi–China Scholar Program. This initiative aims to bridge the robotics ecosystems of both nations by sending up to 30 Saudi students on a tour of China’s leading technology institutions and research hubs. Danny Tang, CEO of Hero Esports, describes Riyadh as the ideal launchpad for this global series, citing the city's position as a nexus for international talent and technological convergence.
