Guiyang Hosts 2026 International Big Data Expo

The expo brings together more than 300 exhibitors specializing in artificial intelligence and cloud computing to facilitate industrial matchmaking. Beyond domestic collaboration, the organizers have partnered with over 30 overseas enterprises to foster international resource sharing and cross-border business expansion. The program focuses on five specific pillars: computing power infrastructure, data supply, model-driven development, security, and intelligent user experience.

Guiyang and the Gui’an New Area continue to anchor this digital strategy, now hosting 26 large-scale data centers. The region currently boasts a total computing power capacity exceeding 174 EFLOPS, with intelligent computing comprising over 98% of that total. Operational efficiency remains a priority, as local data centers maintain an average Power Usage Effectiveness rating of 1.19. This infrastructure growth has propelled the local software and information technology sector past the 100 billion yuan revenue milestone, cementing the area's role as a cornerstone of China’s digital economy.
