Pickering arrives with two decades of experience, having previously served as CTO at Hopper and Scripta Insights. His mandate is to manage the technical infrastructure behind NexusOne’s platform, which acts as a governed layer for enterprise AI. The system allows companies to maintain control over their agents, data, and compute rather than relying on external intelligence providers.
Scaling the infrastructure
The platform currently supports production workloads at major institutions, including a top-three US bank that reportedly cut $100 million in hardware and license costs after integrating 30 AI applications in less than a month. NexusOne’s architecture functions as a horizontal control plane, routing AI requests based on intent and identity while securing data across legacy, cloud, and on-prem systems. Pickering will focus on expanding these routing capabilities and automating deployment processes to sustain the company's current growth trajectory.
