Fronted by songwriter Malcolm Philip Flavell, the band earned this recognition for the track "Is It Never Too Late," a song co-written with Jason Milgram and Marc Loren. The composition serves as the centerpiece of their debut album, drawing on themes of resilience and second chances. For Flavell, who named the group in honor of his late father, the achievement validates the band’s commitment to authentic roots music. Jason Milgram of Settle Down Productions noted that the band’s progression from semi-finalist to finalist marks a significant milestone in their efforts to expand their national footprint.
Simultaneous to the songwriting accolade, the band’s music video for "Knock On Marble" has been named a 2026 finalist in the Unsigned Only Music Awards. As the group balances these national honors, their local presence in South Florida continues to grow. Following their debut in late 2025, the band has scheduled a series of performances at Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale, including a Dolly Parton tribute set for September 7 and a headlining concert on November 13.
