Ecopetrol Shakes Up Senior Leadership Team

Sandra Lucía Rodríguez Rojas, Corporate Vice President of Territorial Transformation and HSE, will be succeeded by Miguel Ángel Cortés Angarita. Simultaneously, Álvaro Iván Saavedra Barón takes over for Jaime Andrés García Cuello in the Administration and Services division. In the communications sector, Juliana Perdomo Valencia will assume the role of acting Corporate Director of Institutional Relations and Communications, replacing Diana Marcela Jiménez Rodríguez.

The strategic shift extends to the company's core operations. Adrian Santiago Coral Pantoja is set to lead the Strategy and New Business department, while Ana Carolina Ríos Junco moves into the role of acting Vice President of Refining and Industrial Processes. These transitions follow the scheduled departures of Julián Fernando Lemos Valero and Felipe Trujillo López. The company confirmed these appointments are temporary, with permanent successors to be named in the near future.
