Truvista Fiber Extends High-Speed Wi-Fi Into Outdoor Spaces

The new hardware, which carries an IP66 rating for protection against rain, snow, and dust, is engineered to integrate seamlessly with existing eero mesh networks. It offers coverage for up to 15,000 square feet of unobstructed space, supporting over 100 simultaneous devices. By leveraging Wi-Fi 7 technology, the system aims to reduce latency and boost speeds for users on plans reaching up to 2.5 Gigabits per second.

Michelle Harvey, Vice President of Marketing for Truvista Fiber, noted that the expansion addresses growing demands for connectivity in non-traditional spaces, such as workshops, barns, and outdoor dining areas. For businesses, the upgrade facilitates mobile point-of-sale systems and guest access, while residential users gain the ability to stream, work, and manage security cameras from exterior locations. This rollout marks the latest step in Truvista’s regional infrastructure expansion, building on over a century of service in the Southeast.
