Aspen Dental Expands in Punta Gorda to Meet Growing Senior Care Demand

The new practice is independently owned by Raymond D. Dixon, DMD, who manages several locations across Southwest Florida. Managing clinical director Marc Rabideau, a Nova Southeastern University graduate, will oversee daily operations. The office focuses on dentures, implants, crowns, and bridges, providing transparent cost estimates prior to treatment. This expansion arrives as Florida faces a deficit of 1,271 dentists to cover its designated Health Professional Shortage Areas, according to the Health Resources and Services Administration.

Beyond routine services, the Jones Loop Road office will host its first Day of Service on November 7, 2026. This initiative offers free dental care to local veterans, contributing to a national five-year, $100 million commitment by Aspen Dental. The clinic operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Fridays until 1:00 p.m., accepting walk-ins and emergency visits to mitigate the impact of the regional provider gap.
