Huey Magoo's Launches September Roundup for Reeve Foundation

Throughout September, patrons at Huey Magoo's locations can round up their meal totals to the nearest dollar to benefit the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. The initiative coincides with Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month, channeling micro-donations toward paralysis research and the foundation's National Paralysis Resource Center.

The campaign, themed around the foundation’s dual mission of "Today's Care. Tomorrow's Cure," invites diners to contribute small change that aggregates into significant funding for scientific research and support services. Andy Howard, president and CEO of the Orlando-based chicken tender chain, noted the personal importance of the cause to his family, emphasizing that even modest contributions directly assist families navigating life after spinal cord injury.

Since its founding in 1982, the Reeve Foundation has focused on both advancing medical breakthroughs and providing practical assistance to the paralysis community. Through its National Paralysis Resource Center, the organization offers educational programs and peer support, operating under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. By leveraging its growing footprint across 12 states, Huey Magoo’s aims to broaden the reach of these resources while maintaining its commitment to community engagement.
