The acquisition, based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, adds a suite of companies focused on high-demand industrial applications to AMETEK’s global operations. David A. Zapico, Chairman and CEO of AMETEK, noted the strategic alignment of Indicor’s technical expertise with the company’s current portfolio, citing opportunities to drive value through his firm’s established operating model.
Financial projections suggest the newly acquired businesses will contribute roughly $350 million to AMETEK's total sales for 2026. Management expects the transaction to be modestly accretive to the company's adjusted earnings within the same period. The integration process is underway, with the individual Indicor units being folded into the Electronic Instruments Group and Electromechanical Group, depending on their specific market alignment and product offerings.
