Thurston Group Acquires Pixel Health to Expand Healthcare IT Services

Founded in 2001, Pixel Health serves as a comprehensive resource for healthcare organizations, handling everything from strategy and transformation consulting to managed IT services and software licensing. By assuming the responsibility for IT management, the company aims to alleviate administrative burdens for hospitals and practice groups struggling with rapid technological advancement.

To lead this next phase of growth, Brad Mondschein has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Pixel Health. Mondschein, an attorney and advisor with over 25 years of experience, brings a background in negotiating complex networking arrangements to the firm. Thurston Group, which has returned over $4 billion in capital since its inception in 1986, intends to leverage its history of building healthcare-focused platforms to scale Pixel Health's reach. The partnership combines Thurston’s track record of rapid business development with Pixel Health’s on-staff medical personnel and human-centered design approach to clinical workflows.
