Work will be conducted at the company’s San Diego facilities, leveraging specialized shipyards designed for complex naval overhauls. Eric Icke, vice president and general manager of BAE Systems Maritime Solutions San Diego, emphasized that the project supports the Navy’s defense mission through high-precision engineering and dedicated technical capacity.
BAE Systems remains a primary contractor for the U.S. Navy, maintaining a footprint across California, Florida, and Virginia.
