To build anticipation for the sequel, the brand is rolling out a promotional campaign centered on the "Astral Midnight Margarita." The drink, which blends Astral Tequila Blanco with coconut and lime, mirrors the onscreen tradition where the Owens sisters gather to celebrate their bond. Jenn Rapp, Director of Portfolio Tequila & Mezcal at Diageo North America, noted that the brand’s agave-forward profile is designed to complement the film's themes of connection and sisterhood.
The campaign features a five-part social microdrama titled "It's Midnight Somewhere," starring models and television personalities Brooks and Grace Ann Nader. The sisters appear in reality-style confessionals that lean into the film's whimsical, mischievous aesthetic. Beyond digital content, a custom-wrapped promotional trailer is hitting the road for a multi-city tour. Stops in Chicago and New York will offer fans tarot readings and themed activations, bridging the gap between the fictional coven and real-world gatherings. The film, which stars Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, arrives in theaters on September 10, bringing a new chapter to the story of the Owens family.
