Unlike traditional sportsbooks that act as the house, ProphetX functions as a CFTC-regulated derivatives exchange where buyers and sellers determine pricing. The partnership allows operators to incorporate this liquidity into their existing digital environments while ProphetX handles clearing, custody, and regulatory surveillance.
Jake Benzaquen, co-founder of ProphetX, noted that the model preserves direct relationships between the exchange and its partners while simplifying technical overhead. Swivel Gaming CEO Michael Pedersen added that the integration serves as a turnkey solution for operators looking to deploy emerging verticals within a single back-office system. Operators will maintain their own branding and customer experience, though they must complete direct onboarding and satisfy ProphetX’s jurisdictional and KYC requirements before exchange access activates. The rollout across Swivel’s network is slated for the coming months.
