CypherGenics Launches FASTKAT to Counter Quantum and AI Threats

As quantum computing and AI-driven attacks threaten to overwhelm traditional security, Marina del Rey-based CypherGenics has debuted FASTKAT. The platform aims to secure digital ecosystems by providing quantum-ready identity, authentication, and encryption, moving away from the performance bottlenecks inherent in standard Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) models.

The launch of FASTKAT arrives as organizations struggle to manage the rapid proliferation of autonomous AI agents and connected devices. Traditional architectures are increasingly ill-equipped to handle the scalability demands of these systems while simultaneously defending against cryptographic exploitation. CypherGenics claims its technology operates at machine speed, utilizing a fully symmetric methodology that the company states is 100 times faster than conventional PKI.

Supporting this rollout is a robust intellectual property portfolio, anchored by U.S. Patent No. 12,587,513, issued this past March. This patent covers advanced techniques for securing digital data through proprietary constructs, including digital signatures and blockchain verification. Kent Kresa, CEO and chairman of CypherGenics, emphasized that the firm is targeting critical infrastructure and enterprise environments that cannot afford to delay their transition to quantum-resilient protocols. Industry observers, such as Richmond Advisory Group’s Rory Duncan, have pointed to the platform's use of dynamic object modification as a distinct approach to managing security in low-power and low-bandwidth environments.
