Nord Anglia Students Shatter Records with 48.5% Top-Tier I/GCSE Results

Nearly half of all grades awarded to Nord Anglia Education’s largest-ever cohort of 3,380 students hit the elite 9–7 band this year. These results, which comfortably outpaced England’s national average of 22%, underscore a steady climb in academic performance across the organization’s global network of 90 international schools.

The 2026 examination season marks a significant milestone for the group, with the 48.5% achievement rate rising from 48.1% in the previous year. Individual institutions reported standout performances, led by Oxford International College Brighton, where 75% of grades reached the 9–6 level. Meanwhile, the British International School Kuala Lumpur and Nord Anglia International School Dubai saw 67% and 70% of their respective grades land in the top 9–7 bracket.

Dr. Kate Erricker, Interim Chief Education Officer, attributed the success to a combination of student ambition and intensive faculty support. Beyond the I/GCSE success, the organization maintained strong metrics across other curricula, including a 50.4% A*–A rate for A Level students and a 70.5% success rate for those taking Advanced Placement exams. These figures arrive as Nord Anglia continues to expand its reach, currently serving over 100,000 students across 37 countries.
