Lawyer joins the company’s senior management team with a mandate to bridge the gap between technology investments and tangible business results. His focus will encompass enterprise information strategies, the modernization of content operations, and the acceleration of AI adoption. The consulting arm will operate in tandem with TransPerfect’s global technology experts to execute large-scale transformation initiatives for clients in highly regulated sectors, including life sciences, financial services, and manufacturing.
With over two decades of executive experience, Lawyer previously held senior leadership roles at RWS and SDL, where he served as CEO of North America and President of Regulated Industries & Linguistic AI. His career has spanned operations across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, providing him with a specialized perspective on how massive organizations navigate software investments and shifting digital landscapes. TransPerfect President and Co-CEO Phil Shawe noted that Lawyer’s appointment is a direct response to rising client demand for high-level guidance on implementing AI best practices.
