The newly established brand integrates technical instruction in areas ranging from crane operation and rigging to hydraulics and industrial electrical systems. Steel River Foundry intends to standardize training protocols that were previously fragmented, providing a centralized resource for companies struggling to maintain essential equipment and safety compliance.
CEO Dave Fisher noted that the initiative focuses on practical, hands-on education designed to cultivate the specific talent necessary to keep manufacturing lines functional. The curriculum spans 16 disciplines, including mobile crane inspection, forklift operations, and complex mechanical troubleshooting. Instruction is delivered through a mix of public courses, customized on-site employer programs, and intensive training at The Foundry Industrial Academy located at Steel River Ranch in Cleburne, Texas. This consolidation leverages the combined expertise of the North American Crane Bureau, Applied Motion Technologies, and CraneTech to provide a more cohesive pathway for both individual upskilling and corporate workforce development.
