Peijia Medical Hits First Pre-Tax Profit as TAVR Sales Surge

Suzhou-based Peijia Medical turned a corner in the first half of 2026, reporting its first-ever profit before tax. The company, which specializes in heart valve and neurovascular devices, saw total revenue climb to 424.5 million RMB, a 20.1% increase driven by the rapid clinical adoption of its TaurusTrio system.

The group's performance highlights a shift toward operational maturity. While net losses narrowed by 87.4% to roughly 9 million RMB, the most striking indicator of financial health was a 1,394.5% surge in net cash generated from operating activities, which reached 49.4 million RMB. This turnaround stems from a strategy of leveraging existing sales infrastructure to launch new products, effectively lowering overhead while expanding market reach.

Growth in the Transcatheter Valve Therapeutic business was anchored by the TaurusTrio system, which secured over 660 implantations shortly after its December 2025 approval. By July 2026, monthly volume for the system reached 330 cases. This success complemented the company’s neurointerventional segment, where segment profit jumped 79% to 73.2 million RMB. Dr. Yi Zhang, Chairman and CEO, attributed the results to the gradual translation of years of innovation into tangible clinical and commercial value.

Efficiency gains played a crucial role in the company’s bottom line. Despite revenue growth, Peijia managed to lower its selling, administrative, and research expenses simultaneously. The company is now signaling further expansion, with new systems like the GeminiOne TEER and TaurusNXT currently under registration review in China, while global clinical studies for the MonarQ TTVR system proceed across North America and Europe.
