Skanska Secures CZK 2.1 Billion Contract for Prague Data Center

Construction giant Skanska has finalized a CZK 2.1 billion deal to develop a modern data center on the periphery of Prague. The project, valued at approximately SEK 930 million, marks a significant expansion of regional digital infrastructure and will be reflected in the company's third-quarter order bookings for 2026.

The scope of the agreement with CRA Prague Gateway DC encompasses full-scale construction and the installation of non-IT infrastructure. Initial efforts focus on site preparation, foundation work, and the assembly of a load-bearing precast concrete frame.

Operations are set to commence this August, with the facility scheduled for completion by 2028. This development adds to Skanska’s expanding portfolio of specialized technical projects within Central Europe.
