MaxPreps Launches Nationwide Broadcast Series for High School Football

Streaming free on the MaxPreps YouTube channel, tonight’s contest at 7 p.m. PT serves as the flagship event for PlayOn Sports’ initiative to elevate high school athletics. By moving beyond traditional local coverage, the series provides fans, alumni, and families across the country access to top-tier programs regardless of their physical location.

PlayOn Sports CEO Perkins Miller noted that the program aims to broaden the visibility of student-athletes, turning community events into national spotlights. The initiative includes comprehensive digital support, featuring live updates, statistics, and postgame analysis across MaxPreps platforms. Both participating schools bring championship pedigrees to the field; St. John Bosco secured national titles in 2019 and 2022, while Bishop Gorman claimed the top spot in 2016 and 2023. As college and professional leagues remain in the preseason, this series captures the early-season intensity of the sport for a wider audience.
