MFour Integrates Video Interviews into Quantitative Research

Irvine-based MFour is cutting research cycles from weeks to minutes by embedding video feedback directly into its DANI AI platform. The tool allows researchers to move beyond static data points by prompting quantitative survey respondents to capture real-time video explanations of their behavior, effectively merging qualitative insights with large-scale metrics.

The new DANI Reel Studio feature automates the labor-intensive process of reviewing consumer responses. By transcribing video entries and identifying recurring themes, the platform enables researchers to quantify how often specific sentiments appear. Users can drag and drop key clips into presentation-ready reels or rely on automated editing tools to generate summaries based on specific instructions.

Chris St. Hilaire, founder and CEO of MFour, emphasized that this integration bridges the gap between identifying market trends and understanding the motivation behind them. The system leverages MFour’s proprietary consumer panel, which captures behavior-triggered feedback at the exact moment a product or brand interaction occurs. This approach ensures that the voices behind the data are drawn from the same pool of respondents whose habits are being tracked across the company’s 13 million-member panel. The tool is now available to all MFour Studio customers, offering a faster alternative to conducting separate qualitative studies.
