The expanded collaboration leverages Robot.com’s fleet to provide food and facility management services for Sodexo’s vast portfolio. According to J. Kim Fennell, Chief Business Officer at Robot.com, the companies spent the last five years refining deployment and economic models, which will now be applied at a significantly larger scale. The agreement signals a shift for Sodexo toward integrating AI-enabled solutions to increase operational flexibility and meet the evolving demands of student and campus environments.
Beyond simple logistics, the contract introduces an advertising component, utilizing the mobile robot fleet as an out-of-home media platform. Roberta Frierson, VP of Digital at Sodexo North America, noted that the integration of automation into existing systems is designed to deliver measurable value to operators and consumers alike. With over 500 robots already active across multiple countries, Robot.com continues to position its hardware as a solution to workforce and logistics challenges in complex service environments, including corporate and government facilities.
