The initiative arrives as Japan pushes to transition extracurricular supervision away from school faculty during the national reform implementation period. By deploying a dedicated general manager to each of the three participating schools, Leifras intends to create a centralized hub for communication between parents, instructors, and the Board of Education. This structure is designed to professionalize the management of sports and cultural clubs while ensuring consistent oversight.
A central focus of the contract is safety. Leifras has maintained a record of zero serious accidents since launching its school support business in 2013. The company plans to implement a rigorous emergency reporting system in Nagakute to address minor injuries and prevent risks before they escalate. Beyond administration, the firm will introduce its proprietary coaching philosophy to local instructors, emphasizing the development of social and self-esteem skills alongside athletic performance. The agreement remains in effect through August 31, 2029, as part of a broader municipal effort to build a sustainable model for extracurricular activities.
