The 4As Overhauls Structure With New Executive Leadership Roles

The American Association of Advertising Agencies is shifting its internal operating model to mirror a product-focused enterprise, appointing Brad Mehl as Executive Vice President of Product and Missy Mans as Executive Vice President of Integration, Program Management and Innovation to anchor the organization's next chapter transformation.

The 4As Overhauls Structure With New Executive Leadership Roles

The 4As, which represents more than 600 member agencies, is moving away from a traditional functional organization toward a unified model. CEO Justin Thomas-Copeland stated that the change is intended to help the association move with the same pace and ambition as the agencies it supports. By treating member offerings like research, events, and training as a cohesive product portfolio, the association aims to measure outcomes more rigorously and respond faster to market shifts.

Brad Mehl joins the leadership team with two decades of experience in scaling commercial and data portfolios, tasked with managing the new product business unit. Meanwhile, Missy Mans arrives from her role as Senior Vice President of Operations at Colle McVoy to lead the IPMI unit. Her mandate focuses on the operational engine, connecting planning and execution through modernized systems. Both appointments signal a strategic push to ensure the trade body remains an indispensable partner by evolving its internal structure alongside the rapidly changing advertising industry landscape.
