The program, priced at $123,995 for those starting with zero experience, spans nine months and culminates in commercial multi-engine certification and flight instructor ratings. By leveraging its expansive fleet, the Jacksonville Beach-based institution seeks to address the industry demand for high-value cockpit experience. Graduates secure the Multi-Engine Instructor rating, which serves as a gateway to both airline careers and roles within the corporate and charter sectors.
Michael Arnold, Vice President of Marketing at ATP, noted that the school’s resources allow for this pricing structure, which traditionally carries a significant premium. The initiative is currently operational in Atlanta, Daytona Beach, and Denton, with classes commencing every Monday. This expansion of the training model reflects a broader effort to standardize multi-engine proficiency as a core component of professional pilot development.
