Burns most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Precision Fabrics Group, Inc. from 2022 until July 2026. His professional background includes a tenure as President and CEO of AGY Holdings Corp., a global manufacturer of high-performance glass fibers. Earlier in his career, he held key finance and business development positions at Lear Corporation, Masland Corporation, IBM, and Wachovia Corporation.

General John P. Jumper, Chairman of the Board, noted that Burns’ dual expertise as both a CEO and CFO, combined with his strategic board experience, offers a valuable perspective for the firm. Burns holds an economics degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
