The meal, available exclusively via the Chipotle app and website, features the influencer’s go-to order: a Kid’s Cheese Quesadilla paired with white rice, black beans, hand-mashed guac, chips, and chocolate milk. Matter, a fixture on her father Jordan Matter’s YouTube channel which boasts over 37 million subscribers, has frequently featured the restaurant in her content, turning an organic fandom into a formal brand partnership.
This collaboration serves as a strategic move to capture the attention of younger diners. Data from February 2026 indicates that Gen Alpha now wields significant power over family dining decisions, with a high percentage of the demographic showing active interest in food origins and cooking content. Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle’s Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing, noted that the partnership leans on Matter’s authenticity to bridge the gap between digital creators and physical restaurant experiences.
To drive engagement, Chipotle is launching a contest running from August 19 through September 4. Fans who post photos of their meals on Instagram with the hashtag #SalishxChipotle have the chance to win a trip to Los Angeles, including an in-person lunch with Matter and an opportunity to collaborate on content. The campaign will also be visible on physical menu boards throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, reflecting the creator's deep roots in the region.
