Since joining the firm in 2021, Middleton has become a cornerstone of the Florida division. His advancement reflects a broader strategy to solidify the firm’s leadership as demand for advisory services among lower- and middle-market businesses continues to climb. Larry Lawson II, President of Viking’s Florida Division, noted that Middleton’s ability to bring clarity to intricate transactions has been essential to the firm's recent performance.
Middleton’s professional trajectory includes early work in commercial real estate and a lead sales role at a Fortune 500 building materials company, where he managed key accounts for national homebuilders. This diverse background has proven critical in his current capacity, where he oversees transactions across various industries. During his five-year tenure, he has not only facilitated successful acquisitions but also focused on hiring and mentoring new team members to expand the firm’s regional footprint.
In his expanded role, Middleton will continue to manage the full lifecycle of deals for clients with annual revenues ranging from $2 million to $250 million. Viking, which maintains an 85% closing rate and has successfully sold over 950 businesses, relies on such leadership to maintain its market position as one of the largest firms of its kind in the United States.
