The collaboration, announced August 17, centers on the Teachers Who Count Sweepstakes. Participants can enter by highlighting a teacher who has significantly shaped their academic confidence. Beyond the contest, the two brands are hosting Teachers’ Lounge Takeovers at schools nationwide, providing educators with festive decorations and co-branded treats.
Michael Stanfield, CMO of Mathnasium, noted that the initiative serves to acknowledge the pivotal role teachers play in fostering a student’s belief in their own potential. Melissa Ben-Ishay, president of Baked by Melissa, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the partnership aligns with her company’s mission to celebrate everyday milestones. In addition to the sweepstakes, the brands have released a specialty 25-pack of cupcakes featuring a custom, puzzle-themed insert designed to engage families in math-based activities during the transition back to the classroom.
